Every time I see a video on how to fit everything in a carry-on bag when traveling, I usually roll my eyes because it’s usually some skinny or petite person in the video.
Since returning from Europe, I have been seriously slacking on my travel writing. Two reasons:
New York has always been my favorite city, and it is actually the first place I ever traveled to solo. I recently visited and I had some of the most amazing food! I don’t eat at the most expensive places though. I prefer to try small, local, and low-maintenance spots. I also try not to go to the same place more than once, because I want to always have new experiences. These places aren’t all restaurants, but these were the best things I ate on my last trip:
- T Swirl Crepes (247 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003)
My boyfriend and I recently went on a 4-night cruise from Orlando to the Bahamas (Freeport and Nassau). It was amazing! It was inexpensive, there was ALWAYS something going on to entertain us, and there was SO MUCH FOOD. I repeat – there was so much food!
If you’ve never been on a Carnival Cruise, this is what you can expect:
Excessive, I know. But I’m always prepared.
They are a necessity to block kids yelling chatter when boarding the plane, listening to music during the flight, and drowning out some of the terrifying sounds the plane makes during take off (but seriously though, what are those noises?!)
Holy Shit! I’ve officially lived in Vegas ten years. I never thought I’d be here this long but it’s home. This list is basically why I love this city, even after all this time.
- The View of The Strip skyline:
I don’t necessarily want to hangout on The Strip – because I prefer Netflix and my couch – but there’s no denying that it is damn gorgeous to look at (from afar, of course).
